Intern Housing

We need a space to host the many short/medium term visitors and interns we have coming. We want to convert this old pigpen into accommodation for 25 people.

Church Launches

We have church weekly in one location, monthly in another and occasionally in a third. This year we need to take all three locations weekly due to the fruit of many coming to know Christ in our summer outreaches and now needing local community and discipleship. We need to buy musical instruments and equipment, sound systems, chairs and children ministry supplies.

Transformer

The electrical supply to the whole area around our base is below minimum appliance use. Use of appliances causes surges which breaks the appliances and means we have to run off a generator to even wash clothes. The surges of power also mean our electrical bills are 220% higher than they should be. A transformer would resolve this issue.

Church Roof

The church hall on the base used to be a giant pig pen! It has been converted to a fantastic space able to host 300 people, with lights and electricity, and the roof structure reembraced. But the tin roof is old and leaking in parts: we need to replace the Tin and insulate the roof to lower the temperature inside and act as a sound proofer from the tropical storms!

To be sustainable we would like to run the whole main base (church, parsonage, caretakers cottage, basketball court and intern housing) on solar power.

Oasis Church

To maximize on the main inner city church building we need to restructure the existing space. Remove an internal wall and replace with a divider to utilize the space for different size groups and activities, add air cons, relocate the office to the front of the building and use the upstairs for children’s ministry.

Basketball Court Roof

The basketball court on our base is used several times a week for youth and sports outreach. However high temperatures and tropical heat mean that sometimes events have to be canceled or delayed. We want to install a retractable sail type roof (the cheapest option) to ensure we can operate ministry no matter the weather!
